DescriptionThere are only a literally a handful of wines in the world that are both organic and fairtrade. This refreshing white provides very easy drinking with a nose that has tropical hints of guava and pineapple and a palate that has the grassiness typical of Sauvignon Blanc. Clean, crisp and versatile enough to drink on its own or with pasta, seafood and salads. Named after the Indian Runner Ducks who roam the vineyard gobbling up the pests (see photo!). Sealed with a screwcap to retain the fresh fruit characters. More informationStellar Winery is situated 275 km north of Cape Town on the road to Namibia and is both organic and Fairtrade. The cellar processes upwards of 5000 tons of organic grapes from farms straddling the northern boundary of the Olifants River wine region and Namaqualand. This is an area famous for its spring flowers and is also the only semi-arid Biosphere hotspot in the world.
