DescriptionCarmenère is a grape variety that was brought over to Chile from France in the 1800s and it seems to do very well here (rather like Malbec does in Argentina). It has a herbal quality to the nose, a little like Cabernet Franc, and this wine has sweet strawberry and plummy notes and soft tannins, more reminiscent of Merlot on the palate. Very easy-drinking and great value. A good wine to have on hand for impromptu visitors! If you would like to order please email susan@ethicalwine.com with the details and we will contact you for payment. More informationAdobe is a range of wines produced by Viñedos Orgánicos Emiliana, one of the sole producers in Chile to use biodynamic practices.
