DescriptionThis delicious white wine is from their 'entry-level' range and is incredibly good value! Made from 50% Sauvignon Blanc with Clairette and Grenache Blanc. The wine has a fresh, zingy Sauvignon feel with lovely texture and a crunchy apple character. This is a great wine to have as a pre-dinner drink to whet the appetite. More informationThis is an extraordinary place. The Mas de Daumas Gassac wines come from some 40 hectares of organically-farmed perfectly drained volcanic soil under the thick garrigue scrub and shrubs covering the Arboussas hills. The outstandingly unusual terroir was discovered in the 1970s by the great academic, Henry Enjalbert, then in the Chair of Geography at Bordeaux. |
