The ideal gift to show you care in more ways than one. On one level this is a delicious Champagne and chocolate gift, but actually it's a lot more than that because both the Champagne and chocolates are organic.

This top quality organic and biodynamic Premier Cru Champagne is from Larmandier-Bernier. "Few growers' ranges in Champagne are as consistently outstanding as that of Larmandier-Bernier" says Andrew Jefford in his book The New France. A blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, it has lovely finesse and balance, a gorgeous creamy mousse with a lingering toasty finish.

We chose the organic chocolates after exhaustive (but very enjoyable!) tastings. The chocolate comes from the Dominican Republic and they are currently seeking Fairtrade status. Rather than go for the traditional six truffles in a lot of packaging, we have chosen something simple, tasty and much better value. Three 140g bags of large, unadulterated chocolate buttons - dark, milk and white to suit all tastes. The bags are made from biodegradable cellophane. As well as being high quality, they are very moreish, so keep an eye on them before they disappear!

The Champagne and chocolates are placed in one of our two bottle jute bags worth £4.99 which can be re-used whenever you are taking wine to friends for dinner! This is delivered in a cardboard box which is made from 100% recycled content from FSC paper suppliers and is recyclable.
